Tongfang Business | Tongfang Conducts Training on the New Corporate Law System
The newly revised Company Law will take effect on July 1 of this year, and will have a significant impact on the relevant systems of tens of millions of companies nationwide. To fully grasp the core content of the new Company Law and enhance lawyers’ professional capabilities, the Business Development Committee of Tongfang has specially launched Tongfang Academy, organizing lawyers to participate in a series of training courses on the new Company Law.
Recently, at a training session on lawyer management, law enforcement, and disciplinary practices for the provincial judicial administration system—organized by the Department of Justice of Liaoning Province—our partner attorney Lin Lin was invited to serve as a member of the panel in a mock courtroom for administrative litigation cases.
As the New Year approaches, all things are flourishing. On February 8, a New Year’s tea party attended by people from all sectors of Shenyang was held at the New World Expo Center. The meeting was chaired by Lü Zhicheng, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, and was also attended by Fan Jiying, Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress, and Yu Xueli, Chairman of the Municipal Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.
On December 26, 2023, with the approval of the Liaoning Provincial Department of Justice, Liaoning Tongfang (Free Trade Zone) Law Firm was granted authorization to establish. On January 11, 2024, Liaoning Tongfang (Free Trade Zone) Law Firm officially obtained its practice license.
On the afternoon of January 19, 2024, the 2023 Winter Oath-Taking Ceremony for Newly Practicing Lawyers of the Shenyang Lawyers Association was successfully held in the Grand Conference Room of the Shenyang Lawyers Association. Officials from the Lawyers’ Work Management Division of the Shenyang Municipal Justice Bureau, the President of the Shenyang Lawyers Association, and 145 newly practicing lawyers attended the ceremony. Three lawyers from Tongfang Law Firm successfully took their oath at this conference.
On January 12, 2024, accompanied by Liu Wei, President of the Liaoning Chinese Association in Russia and Senior Advisor on Russian affairs at Tongfang Law Firm, representatives Solodkiy Ivan and Allakherdiev Shamsi from the Russian law firm Teplyakov Alexey Anatolevich visited Tongfang Law Firm for a follow-up business exchange.
