The Tongfang Young Lawyers Academy, founded with great dedication by Tongfang Law Firm, was solemnly inaugurated on May 18, 2024, at the Liaoning Public Security and Judicial Administration Cadre College. The establishment of the Academy has received high attention and strong support from the leaders of the Shenyang Municipal Justice Bureau and the Lawyers’ Association, marking a solid step forward for Tongfang Law Firm in Liaoning toward systematic and institutionalized cultivation of young legal talent.

Founding Purpose

Adhering to the core mission of “leading growth, forging character, enhancing skills, and contributing to the rule of law,” the Academy is committed to providing young lawyers with sound guidance for their professional development. We not only focus on honing young lawyers’ professional skills and comprehensive qualities but also place great emphasis on cultivating their broader perspectives, strong will, and noble character. Our goal is to nurture outstanding legal professionals who are soulful, courageous, capable, wise, resolute, and endowed with integrity—thus building a robust talent pool for the sustainable, high-quality development of law firms and making meaningful contributions to the advancement of the legal profession and the construction of the rule of law.

Our mission is to support young lawyers in achieving rapid and healthy career development through a systematic training framework, helping them take every critical step confidently on their path of professional growth and career advancement.

Comprehensive Cultivation System

To effectively ensure the effectiveness of our training program, Tongfang Law Firm has simultaneously introduced the “Ten Measures to Support the Development of Young Lawyers,” providing solid policy and resource support for the operation of the Young Lawyers Academy. Our training system covers the following multiple dimensions:

Scientific planning leads the way:

We are innovatively implementing a “dual-mentor system,” assigning each young lawyer both a professional mentor and a thought mentor to provide comprehensive, personalized guidance on career planning, professional development, and value formation.

Systematic Professional Development:

We will build a tiered training system and strengthen practical skills through diverse platforms such as the “Youth Practical Court,” “Master Lectures,” and “Qingfeng Night Dialogue Forums.” We will support cross-team collaboration and mobility among young lawyers, encourage them to play active roles in specialized committees, and provide valuable opportunities—including access to public case sources, industry networking, and brand promotion—to accelerate their professional development and enhance their influence.

Sound organizational safeguards

Establish the Young Lawyers College and the Young Lawyers Development Committee, and set up specialized organizations under them focusing on areas such as practice, arts, and sports. At the same time, actively promote the establishment of the Tongfang Youth League Committee, thereby creating a diversified platform for young lawyers to grow and exchange ideas.

Diversified Incentive and Care

Establish a comprehensive points-based evaluation and incentive system, tilting the firm’s resources toward young lawyers who are outstanding, motivated, and responsible. At the same time, pay close attention to the personal and psychological needs of young lawyers, offering them humane care and practical assistance to alleviate their concerns and worries.

Strong resource support

The law firm has established a special fund for the development of young lawyers and a development foundation to provide ample financial support for the implementation of various training programs.
The Tongfang Young Lawyers Academy will serve as a nurturing cradle and vital support station for the growth of young lawyers. By pooling high-quality resources from both inside and outside the firm and providing regular, professional training and meticulous guidance, the Academy will accompany young lawyers on their journey of growth and work together to write a brilliant new chapter in the future of the legal profession.

Tongfang Law Firm will hold the first “United in Purpose, Steadfast in Action—Dynamic Youth” training camp for young lawyers from May 18 to 19.
