However, in recent years, incidents of campus bullying have been occurring with increasing frequency, causing serious harm to students’ physical and mental health. Attending this event were Li Yan, Party Branch Secretary and Principal of the No. 1 Primary School in Hushitai, Shenbei New Area, along with her leadership team. Comrade Zhao Moke, from the Judicial Office of Hushitai Subdistrict, Shenbei New Area; Comrade Sun Zhiyi, from Dexin Community, Hushitai Subdistrict, Shenbei New Area; and attorneys Tao Yudong, Li Fangzhi, Wei Shiyu, and Liu Bingchen from Liaoning Tongfang Law Firm.

The four lawyers each gave a presentation, drawing on their own legal experience, covering four aspects: an overview of school bullying, the characteristics of school bullying, the types of school bullying, and how to prevent it. First, Master of Laws, Liaoning University Tao Yudong, legal counsel at Liaoning Jiaotou Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd. and attorney at Liaoning Tongfang Law Firm, gave the students an overview of school bullying. Starting with the definitions of school bullying and bullying itself, he helped the students gain a preliminary understanding of this issue. Afterwards, Li Fangzhi, a member of the Social and Legal Affairs Committee of the Provincial Direct Working Committee of the China Association for Promoting Democracy and chief representative of the Japan-China Business Daily in Shenyang, explained the characteristics of school bullying to the students. Using examples from Doraemon—such as the characters of Giant, Nobita, and Suneo—she vividly illustrated the distinctive traits of the three types of individuals involved in bullying behaviors. Next, Wei Shiyu, a member of the Liaoning Provincial Direct Working Committee of the China National Democratic Construction Association and a lawyer with extensive trial experience gained during many years working at the People's Court, explained the different types of school bullying to the students. Drawing on his own experience at the court, Lawyer Wei urged the students to enhance their awareness of self-protection. Finally, Liu Bingchen, a Master of Laws from Peking University who has worked for many years at the People's Procuratorate, the Commission for Discipline Inspection, and the Supervisory Commission and boasts rich experience in handling criminal cases, explained the legal consequences associated with school bullying and advised the students on how to respond appropriately if they encounter bullying.

Through today’s lecture, students have gained a deeper understanding of campus bullying. Let’s join hands, start with ourselves, and take action right now to firmly resist campus bullying. May our campus be filled with love and care, ensuring that every student can thrive in a harmonious and safe environment.
