Promotion Ceremony
Recently, it was approved by a vote at the partner meeting of Tongfang. Attorneys Gao Honggang, Wu Nan, Zhou Shijin, and Sun Yongcheng Promoted to Senior Partner, Attorney Xu Peng'en, Attorney Lu Zongxing Promoted to partner.
On November 6, 2025, a promotion ceremony will be held for newly promoted lawyers at the Tongfang Young Lawyers College. Attending the meeting were Cao Yuanjun, Party Secretary and Director of Tongfang Law Firm; Yang Xingquan, Chairman of the Partners’ Meeting; Han Ying, Deputy Party Secretary and Deputy Director; and Zhao Jing, Managing Partner and Senior Partner.
Attorney Cao Yuanjun delivered the opening remarks, emphasizing that the core of a law firm’s development lies in its talent. He encouraged lawyers to integrate their personal growth into the firm’s development, enhance their professional competence and ethical standards, and uphold the philosophy of “walking together on the great path, staying true to principles and upholding integrity.” He also extended his congratulations to the partners who are set to be promoted.

Promotion Speech
Gao Honggang, Senior Partner
Attorney Gao Honggang said that he entered the legal profession somewhat unexpectedly, having worked at six small firms before ultimately choosing Tongfang Law Firm. He resonates with Tongfang’s philosophy of “walking the righteous path together and upholding integrity and principle,” and hopes that Tongfang will be the final stop in his legal career.
Wu Nan, Senior Partner
Attorney Wu Nan said that he has been practicing law for exactly ten years. He had missed out on joining Tongfang Law Firm earlier due to an information error, but now that he’s joined, he feels the firm is like a home—giving him a strong sense of belonging. He hopes Tongfang will be his last stop in his legal career.
Zhou Shijin, Senior Partner
Attorney Zhou Shijin shared his career journey—from serving as a cadre in the Border Defense Corps of the People's Armed Police to becoming a lawyer. He previously worked at a remote police station and later held positions at several law firms before ultimately choosing Tongfang Law Firm. He believes Tongfang is Liaoning’s premier law firm, renowned for its exemplary management practices and upright professional ethos, and he hopes to spend his entire career here.
Sun Yongcheng, Senior Partner
Attorney Sun Yongcheng said that having joined Tongfang just over twenty days ago as a newcomer, he has already sensed Tongfang’s excellent reputation within the industry. Its rigorous and low-key style aligns perfectly with his own career development goals, and he hopes to contribute his part to Tongfang’s growth and success.

Attorney Lu Zongxing stated that he had spent five years interning and practicing at Tongfang Law Firm, and expressed his gratitude for the firm’s and his colleagues’ support. He inspired himself with the saying, “One is born in adversity and dies in comfort,” and hopes to continue improving himself at this new starting point and contribute to the firm’s development.
At the end of the ceremony, by Partner Meeting Chairman, Attorney Yang Xingquan In his concluding remarks, he extended congratulations on behalf of the Partners’ Meeting to the six newly appointed partners. He analyzed the development landscape for Tongfang Law Firm as it enters a new era and a new stage in 2025, clearly defining the development goal of “leading in our region and first-class domestically.” He emphasized that partners should elevate their strategic vision, enhance their professional expertise, and improve their overall competence. He underscored the importance of focusing on the continuous enhancement of partners’ qualities, establishing mechanisms to support their growth, and called upon partners to unite and collaborate closely to jointly drive the firm’s development.
