On February 28, 2024, Ms. Zhao Jing, Senior Partner at Liaoning Tongfang (Free Trade Zone) Law Firm and Director of the Tongfang Public Welfare Committee, along with Ms. Jia Xinlu, Secretary of the Wen’an Road Community in Nanhu Subdistrict, Mr. Zhang Heping, First Deputy Secretary of the Wen’an Road Community in Nanhu Subdistrict, Ms. Wang Nan, Deputy Director of the Wen’an Road Community in Nanhu Subdistrict, and Mr. Wang Xuefeng, Head of the Armed Forces Department of Nanhu Subdistrict, held a discussion on recently prominent property disputes and tort liability disputes among residents in the Wen’an Road Community. Ms. Zhao Jing provided legal advice on these issues, and both sides also discussed the content of legal services to be provided for community governance in 2024.

First, we addressed a series of questions raised by community leaders, primarily focusing on the community’s level of involvement in convening owners’ meetings by the owners’ committee, the issue of oversight over owners’ voting rights, the supervision of public funds, property management issues, and the conflict between providing owners’ rosters and protecting privacy. Attorney Zhao Jing provided detailed answers, drawing on judicial practice, with the aim of ensuring that the Wen’an Road community fulfills its coordination and supervisory duties in strict compliance with the law.

Second, regarding the legal services to be provided in 2024, Attorney Zhao Jing held discussions with Secretary Jia Xinlu and others.
