To further enhance the impact of promoting the Civil Code and to spur a new wave of publicity and education on the Civil Code, ensuring that the Civil Code truly reaches the people and resonates with their hearts, and to foster a societal ethos of respecting, studying, abiding by, and applying the law, on May 14, 2024, the New Era Civilization Practice Station in Shifu Community, Nan Market Subdistrict, Heping District, held a promotional event titled “A Better Life, Accompanied by the Civil Code.” Attorney Jin Lu from our firm was invited to participate.

Attorney Jin Lu provided residents with a clear and concise explanation of the various provisions and related knowledge of the Civil Code. She introduced the community residents to the fundamental content and significant importance of the Civil Code, and through explanations and illustrations using specific cases, helped them better understand and master the relevant provisions and legal articles of the Civil Code. Attorney Jin also patiently and meticulously answered the various legal questions raised by the residents, guiding them to properly use legal tools to safeguard their legitimate rights and interests.

Attorney Jin Lu’s explanation not only brought the Civil Code into the community, making the law accessible to and serving the public, but also enhanced community residents’ awareness of compliance with the law and their ability to protect their rights. It fostered a sense of voluntary adherence to, study of, compliance with, and application of the law among everyone, and moreover, helped create a positive atmosphere of rule of law, contributing significantly to the building of a legal system and the promotion of community harmony.
