To further enhance the quality of services provided to women and children in protecting their rights and interests, and to build a highly qualified, professional volunteer team dedicated to rights protection, the Shenyang Public Security Bureau, the Shenyang Women’s Federation, the Huanggu District People’s Court, and the Huanggu District People’s Procuratorate have jointly established Shenyang’s first demonstration station for women and children’s rights protection services. — Héxù Station. 2024 On September 26, the Yang Jianfu Police Station of Xinle Police Substation jointly organized a ceremony to appoint female volunteers for women’s rights protection, along with a public legal consultation event focused on safeguarding the rights of women and children.
Attorneys Zhao Wanyi and Sun Ningwei from Tongfang were appointed as volunteer advocates for women’s rights at Hexu Station, with a term of three years. During the ceremony, the “Initiative” issued by the Women’s Rights Protection Alliance was read aloud and signed.
The two lawyers from Tongfang stated that as legal professionals, they should take the lead and set an example in public-interest legal education activities, ensuring that women and children feel firmly supported on their journey to safeguard their rights. As volunteer advocates for women’s rights, they are not only interpreters of the law but also healers of the heart. In the future, with the unique sensitivity and tenderness characteristic of women, they will listen carefully to every story, understand the difficulties faced by each individual, and demonstrate the remarkable spirit of women—equal to men—in both professional competence and concrete actions, thus creating a bright and hopeful future for women and children.
