In this crucial period of continuous advancement in the rule-of-law development, and in order to further enhance the rule-of-law awareness among grassroots staff and thoroughly implement the Administrative Reconsideration Law, on March 14, 2025, the Xinhua Subdistrict Office of the People's Government of Heping District, Shenyang City, specially organized a highly significant special lecture on the Administrative Reconsideration Law. The lecture featured Fu Zanru, partner at Tongfang Law Firm and an expert in administrative law, as the keynote speaker. In the subdistrict office’s conference room, a journey of legal learning—where theory meets practice—thus began.

The newly revised “Administrative Reconsideration Law” will take effect on January 1, 2024, and it holds extremely significant importance in the field of administrative rule of law. During the key content interpretation session, Attorney Fu Zanru introduced a series of real-life cases, vividly illustrating the crucial role of administrative reconsideration in correcting erroneous administrative actions and safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of the parties involved. This also enabled street-level staff to gain a more intuitive understanding of the practical procedures involved in administrative reconsideration.

The atmosphere at the scene was lively, and all the staff from the Xinhua Subdistrict Office demonstrated an extraordinary enthusiasm for learning. Through active exchanges and interactions, not only were the challenges faced by subdistrict staff in their daily work resolved, but everyone also gained a deeper understanding of the Administrative Reconsideration Law. Participants unanimously expressed that the lecture was rich in content and highly practical, and would be of great help in their future work.
