The Grain Rain nourishes all things, and the rule of law enriches people’s hearts. On April 20, 2025—the very season of Grain Rain when we sow hope—actively responding to the nation’s call for ecological civilization construction, the Public Welfare and Social Responsibility Committee of Liaoning Tongfang Law Firm (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Tongfang Public Welfare Committee”) joined the public welfare tree-planting event organized by the Public Welfare Committee of the Shenyang Lawyers Association. Together with others, we planted 10 saplings in the “Lawyers’ Public Welfare Forest” at the Heavy Industry Model Workers’ Park in Tiexi District, Shenyang, making a shared commitment to the fusion of green initiatives and the rule of law!

The Rule of Law Imprint in Public Welfare Forests
This public tree-planting event was organized and led by Sun Zhiqiang, Deputy Director of the Tongfang Public Welfare Committee. A total of 21 participants—including Yang Xingquan, Chairman of the Tongfang Partners’ Meeting and Advisor to the Tongfang Public Welfare Committee; as well as lawyers Zhang Yuefeng, Zou Donghui, Gai Wentao, Jia Jiayu, Liu Chunwei, Bai Siqi, Chang Xiaoxiao, Zhao Wanyi, Chen Ning, Wang Weijing, Han Tianfu, Yang Chen, Lü Guanghong, Sun Ningwei, Wang Shu, Xu Wenzhuo, Zou Mingyi, Wei Shiyu, and Meng DanNi—joined the activity. Tongfang allocated funds to plant 10 saplings, and Tongfang partners and lawyers also contributed by planting some saplings themselves, thus making their own efforts to build a harmonious and beautiful Shenyang.

The lawyers wielded shovels to fill in soil, carried saplings, watered them, and meticulously coordinated their efforts. One sapling after another stood tall against the wind, each adorned with a sign indicating its sponsor. With their actions, they embodied the principle that “legal professionals are not only guardians of social norms but also defenders of the natural ecosystem.” These saplings, imbued with faith in the rule of law, will grow alongside Tongfang Law Firm, witnessing the continuous expansion of the rule-of-law journey.
