Following that, the ceremony reached a solemn and moving highlight: Yang Xingquan, Zhang Hongchao, Luo Dan, Wang Zhanping, Qiu Hui, Bai Siqi, Liu Jianfeng, Song Chunyu, and Cao Yuanjun—nine lawyers representing Tongfang colleagues from different stages of their careers spanning the 1960s to the 1990s—took to the stage together and recited the “Tongfang Ode.”

The voices of recitation were clear and resolute, like a deep spring flowing forth, or a gentle breeze rustling through a pine forest. With language as their bond and conviction as their pledge, every single word they spoke was a steadfast commitment to justice and a heartfelt reflection on their original aspirations. Each syllable and rhythm echoed the enduring spirit of our colleagues—pragmatic, forward-looking, and united in their shared purpose. At this moment, words were imbued with power, and these profound declarations resonated deeply within each heart. Every person present became a witness to this solemn chorus. This collective oath, spanning over four decades of professional practice, not only underscores the unbroken intergenerational commitment to the rule of law but also lays a solid cultural foundation for the collaborative development of our firm.

At the ceremony, Cao Yuanjun, Party Secretary and Director of Tongfang Law Firm, delivered a speech in which he emphasized that, under the leadership of Chairman Xing Quan, Tongfang has formulated a 20-year strategic development blueprint. Currently, thanks to the concerted efforts of all our colleagues, the initiatives outlined in the strategic plan have entered a critical phase of steady advancement. We will steadily turn this blueprint into reality, step by step. This Open Week provides us with an important opportunity to review our development achievements with an open mindset and to rally our collective strength through a professional perspective. I hope that all our colleagues will take this event as a fresh starting point—continuously striving for professional excellence and proactively driving collaborative innovation. May we join hands and shoulder to shoulder, writing new chapters of glory on the journey toward the rule of law!

After the ceremony, the attendees enjoyed a sumptuous lunch featuring an exquisite buffet, fresh fruits, and refreshing beverages. In this relaxed and harmonious ambiance, participants exchanged insights and sparked new ideas.
