As the Dragon Boat Festival approaches, Tongfang Law Firm held a festival-themed event titled “Arriving Like ‘Lacquer,’ Different Yet Familiar” on June 6 at the Qingchuang Space on the 43rd floor. The event brought together tradition and creativity, blending culture with the festive spirit, and attracted more than 30 lawyers and staff members from the firm to attend.
Lacquer Fan Making: A Fusion of Tradition and Innovation

Under the careful guidance of the lacquer fan craft instructor, participants eagerly began crafting their own lacquer fans. One by one, the lacquer fans gradually took shape under everyone’s skillful hands, embodying both the inheritance of traditional techniques and the integration of modern, innovative designs.
Eating Zongzi: Savoring the Delightful Flavors of Tradition

How could the Dragon Boat Festival be complete without zongzi? We’ve prepared a special zongzi-eating competition for everyone, featuring traditional red-date zongzi and sweet bean paste zongzi, as well as innovative fruit zongzi and multigrain zongzi. The event venue was filled with a delightful aroma, and each contestant gave it their all. The atmosphere was brimming with laughter, joy, and a touch of tension.
Song Contest: Joyful Melodies

After finishing the zongzi, everyone’s enthusiasm was ignited by the song competition. At the event, contestants eagerly jumped in to answer questions, earning rounds of applause and cheers from the audience.
Diao Wang Championship: An Exciting Competition

The final event of the activity is the Dart King Championship. The contestants were fully focused, aiming carefully at the bullseye and throwing dart after dart. Meanwhile, the spectators outside the venue held their breath, cheering enthusiastically for the competitors. Every time the target is hit dead center, cheers erupt continuously. The competition not only tested everyone’s skills but also strengthened teamwork and friendship.
This Dragon Boat Festival event came to a successful close amid laughter and joyful chatter. Each participant not only took home a lacquer fan they had made with their own hands, but also fully immersed themselves in the vibrant festive atmosphere and the charm of traditional culture. Everyone expressed that such events not only allowed them to enjoy a delightful Dragon Boat Festival, but also deepened their understanding and love for traditional culture.
