Shine the Pioneering Spirit of Party Members
“Theoretical cultivation is the core of the comprehensive quality of Party members and cadres. Theoretical maturity is the foundation for political maturity, and political steadfastness stems from theoretical clarity.” For Party members and cadres, how to carry forward an excellent academic style and strengthen theoretical training is both a fundamental requirement for cultivating Party spirit and an inescapable political responsibility.

Party members’ role as pioneers and models is a process of transforming their inner cultivation of Party spirit into concrete, practical actions. The firmer their ideals and convictions, the more resolute and self-conscious their actions will become. We must put into practice the principle of “starting and enforcing rigorously from every single Party member,” strictly implementing and effectively carrying out systems such as the “Three Meetings and One Class,” themed Party days, and organizational life meetings. Leveraging new technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, we should employ methods like case-based teaching, situational experiences, and mutual exchanges and learning to continuously keep the “furnace” of intra-Party political life burning brightly, thereby enabling Party members to hone their Party spirit, refine their thinking, and solidify their spiritual pillars and sources of motivation for fulfilling their missions and demonstrating concrete achievements.
Party members from different fields and of different types each have their own unique characteristics and strengths. If we adopt a “one-size-fits-all” approach to leveraging the roles of party members, it can easily lead to mismatches between individuals and their positions, making it difficult for their talents and abilities to be fully realized. We must adhere to differentiated strategies tailored to individual needs, continuously improve mechanisms such as model Party member posts and responsibility zones, innovate mobilization models empowered by digital and intelligent technologies and featuring rapid response to emergencies, deepen the “dual reporting and dual service” system for Party members in government agencies, implement the “listing and taking charge” initiative for Party members in state-owned enterprises, promote Party member-led service initiatives in hospital wards, organize teaching competitions among Party members in schools, carry out on-the-job training programs for Party members in non-public enterprises, and encourage Party members in “three-new” organizations to offer “immediate assistance” and “snap-and-report” services at any time. By placing each Party member in the most suitable position, we can unlock their full potential and ensure that everyone is working to their greatest capacity.
Water doesn't leap unless it's stirred; people don't strive unless they're inspired. If “taking the lead” and “hiding in the back” make no difference, and “leading by example” is indistinguishable from “standing by and watching,” it will leave those who genuinely roll up their sleeves and get things done feeling disheartened, undermining Party members’ enthusiasm and creativity in serving the masses and contributing to society. We must clearly establish an orientation that rewards excellence and punishes laziness, emphasizing practicality and striving for excellence. We should promote practices such as the points-based system, publicly quantify and disclose the extent to which Party members are fulfilling their roles, cultivate and highlight exemplary role models, and guide Party members to learn from the virtuous and aspire to greater achievements. In this way, we can create a multiplier effect—inspiring one individual, driving an entire group, and benefiting an entire community.
