This newspaper, Beijing, September 18 (Reporter Zhao Cheng) — The summary meeting of the Central Guidance Group for Thoroughly Implementing the Spirit of the Central Government’s Eight-Point Regulation and the Special Task Force at the Central Level was held in Beijing on the 18th. Shi Taifeng, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and deputy head of the Leading Group for Party Building under the CPC Central Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Liu Jingguo, secretary of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and deputy secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, presided over the meeting.

The meeting thoroughly studied and implemented the important speeches and instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping, put into practice the requirements of the meeting of the Leading Group for Party Building under the Central Committee, and summarized the work of the study and education guidance groups and the dedicated task forces.

The meeting pointed out that under the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, this study and education campaign has consistently prioritized learning, firmly upholding the correct political direction; adhered to pragmatism and precision, conducting guidance and supervision in a forceful and effective manner; maintained a strict tone, tackling tough issues head-on and driving the resolution of prominent problems; and embraced open and inclusive education, consciously practicing the Party’s mass line for the new era. Party organizations at all levels, as well as the vast number of Party members and cadres, have generally undergone profound political tempering, ideological refinement, Party spirit cultivation, and style enhancement. As a result, the Party’s work style has achieved an overall improvement, rallying powerful forces to propel high-quality economic and social development.

The meeting emphasized that the conclusion of study and education does not mark the end of style-of-work building, but rather a new starting point. We must rally even more closely around the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, carry forward the spirit of thorough self-revolution, and, with the determination and perseverance to fight tough battles and wage protracted campaigns, relentlessly implement the spirit of the Central Committee’s Eight-Point Regulation. We should promote the normalization and long-term effectiveness of style-of-work building, unite our hearts and minds, focus on practical actions, and provide strong stylistic guarantees for fully advancing the cause of building a strong country and achieving national rejuvenation through Chinese-style modernization.
