      On December 8, 2024, Song Tiejun, Director of the Special Committee for Party Building in the Legal Profession of the Liaoning Provincial Lawyers Association, led an eight-member research team to visit Tongfang Law Firm for guidance and research. Cui Zengping, a member of the Party Committee of the Shenyang Lawyers’ Industry and Vice President of the Shenyang Lawyers Association, accompanied the research team. Yang Xingquan, Director and Founding Partner of Tongfang Law Firm, and Yuan Xin, Member of the Tongfang Party Committee’s Organizational Committee, also participated in the research.

Accompanied by lawyer Yang Xingquan, the research team... We visited the office area, which has undergone a comprehensive upgrade and renovation. Tongfang Party Building Office, Tongfang Party Building Culture Wall, Rule of Law Culture Wall, and Youth Development Committee Culture Wall, among others. During the visit, the research team highly praised and fully recognized Tongfang Law Firm’s professionalism and forward-looking approach in its infrastructure development, its unique appeal in brand building, and its unwavering commitment to its core practice philosophy. They believe that the firm has set an outstanding example within the industry and plays a strong role as a model and leader.



At the outset of the symposium, participants watched together a promotional video commemorating Tongfang’s 25th anniversary. Afterwards, Attorney Yang Xingquan provided a detailed overview of Tongfang Law Firm’s development journey over the past 25 years, its Party-building efforts, as well as its firm culture and team-building initiatives.

Director Song Tiejun, Vice President Cui Zengping, and other colleagues exchanged views with Director Yang Xingquan on the Party-building efforts within law firms. Through this exchange, we gained a profound understanding: Upholding the leadership of the Party, strengthening Party-building within the legal profession, and effectively leveraging the Party’s political core and guiding role in law firms are the fundamental approaches for advancing the rule-of-law construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics and promoting the healthy and rapid development of the legal profession.


Tongfang Law Firm will... Taking this survey as an opportunity, we will continue to deepen Party building work. Uphold Party building as the guiding principle, enhance awareness of the bigger picture, and fulfill social responsibilities. Strengthen the role of Party organizations within Tongfang as a fighting fortress, give full play to the exemplary and leading role of Party members, and deeply integrate Party building work with the firm’s business development, using high-quality Party building to drive the firm’s high-quality growth.
