In accordance with relevant provisions of the Constitution of the Communist Party of China and the Regulations on Elections for Grassroots Party Organizations of the Communist Party of China, and with the approval of the Party Committee of the industry, the general meeting of Party members of the Liaoning Tongfang Law Firm’s Party Committee was successfully held on the afternoon of November 12 at the Tongfang Young Lawyers College. The meeting elected the new members of the Party Committee.
The meeting was chaired by Li Jing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and a work report was delivered by Cao Yuanjun, Secretary of the Party Committee.
The meeting heard and deliberated on the work report of the Tongfang Party Committee for this term. The report pointed out that since its establishment in 2019, the Tongfang Party Committee has consistently adhered to Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as its guiding principle, always taking “Party building as the leading force” as its main thread. While simultaneously focusing on professional development and business growth, the Committee has also placed great emphasis on fulfilling social responsibilities. These two aspects are closely integrated and mutually reinforcing, ensuring that Party building and business operations promote and enhance each other. Moreover, Party building and social responsibility are planned and implemented together, guaranteeing orderly and coordinated development across all areas, aspects, and stages of the firm. The Party Committee has been honored with titles such as “Advanced Grassroots Party Organization of Liaoning Province” and “Advanced Party Organization of the Shenyang Municipal Justice Bureau.”
The meeting adopted the draft election procedures as well as the list of poll watchers and vote counters. It also heard brief introductions to the basic qualifications of the candidates for the new committee. Through secret ballot and proportional representation, nine members were elected to the new Party Committee.
After the meeting, the newly elected Party Committee held its first plenary session and elected the Party Secretary and Deputy Secretary through equal-number elections by secret ballot. Comrade Cao Yuanjun was unanimously elected as the Party Secretary of Liaoning Tongfang Law Firm, while Comrades Han Ying and Li Jing were unanimously elected as the Deputy Secretaries of the Party Committee of Liaoning Tongfang Law Firm.
Meanwhile, in order to promote the coordinated advancement of Party building work and drawing on the experiences of other regions, the Party Committee has studied and decided to appoint Yang Xingquan, Chairman of the Partners’ Meeting and Director of Liaoning Tongfang Law Firm, as a Party-building consultant.
In this new era and on this new journey, the Party Committee of Tongfang will hold high the great banner of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, remain true to our original aspiration and mission, and deeply cultivate a people-centered spirit. Under the leadership of the new Party Committee team, we will forge ahead with vigor and determination, strive relentlessly for higher-quality development, and make new contributions to a brighter future for Tongfang!
