On May 16, 2025, lawyer Cao Yuanjun, Party Secretary and Director of Liaoning Tongfang Law Firm, led a group of Party-member lawyers and young key personnel in a Party-building activity themed “Retracing the Path of Struggle, Gritting Our Way Through Thousands of Mountains.”

The red stories of Anshan are a vivid portrayal of the region’s revolutionary history and heroic legends. At Anshan Martyrs’ Hill Park, the Monument to Revolutionary Martyrs features on its front face the gilded characters “Revolutionary Martyrs Will Live Forever,” inscribed by Marshal Zhu De. The inscription on the back of the monument is divided into three sections, commemorating the martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the Domestic Revolutionary War, the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, and the Liberation of Anshan—each section emphasizing that their spirit will endure forever.

This time, we’re carrying forward the red spirit and strengthening our ideals and convictions by climbing mountains. We’ve seamlessly integrated the unique peaks and challenging trails of Qianshan Mountain with red education. Through activities such as hiking and cultural visits, we aim to refine our Party spirit, build team cohesion, and enhance the organizational strength of the Party. We also encourage Party members to become climbers of the new era.

In his mobilization speech, Party Secretary Cao Yuanjun emphasized: “Every rock in Qianshan carries history within it, and every climb is a test of one’s will. We must take the Party’s fighting spirit as our guide and, amidst the mountains and rivers, deeply appreciate the inheritance of our red heritage.”

Reaching the summit of Tian Shang Tian, one can gaze down upon a breathtaking vista of thousands of peaks arranged like a chessboard, reliving the Red Army’s spirit of fearlessness in the face of hardship. Party Secretary Cao Yuanjun shared his insights under the theme “Climbers in the New Era”: “Legal work is just like mountain climbing—while we must look up at the starry sky of the rule of law, we must also keep our feet firmly planted on the ground and engage in practical, down-to-earth efforts.”

With mutual encouragement and support, everyone is steadily moving forward, one step at a time, toward ever higher goals. This is not only a challenge to physical limits but also a test of mental fortitude and willpower. Just as the revolutionary martyrs, when confronted with daunting difficulties and obstacles, always remained firm in their convictions and pressed boldly ahead.

Finally, the Party members shared their reflections on this mountain-climbing activity. Everyone expressed that this Party-building event was profoundly meaningful. By retracing the path of struggle, they deeply felt the arduous spirit of dedication and unwavering idealism demonstrated by the revolutionary forerunners.
