On December 14, the 2024 Annual Conference and Academic Symposium of the Economic Law Research Association of the Provincial Law Society was held at Northeast University of Finance and Economics. The conference was organized by the Economic Law Research Association of the Provincial Law Society, and more than 70 participants from higher education institutions, judicial organs, and legal practice circles within the province attended the event.
On October 15, 2024, the renowned legal media outlet China Business Law Journal announced the results of its 2024 Outstanding Law Firms Awards (Regional Awards). Tongfang Law Firm was honored with the 2024 China Business Law Journal Northeast Region “Outstanding Comprehensive Strength Law Firm” Award.
We warmly congratulate Attorney Wang Shuai of the Tongfang Law Firm (Dalian Branch) on his election as Vice President and Executive Director of the Dalian Lawyers Association; and Attorney Tao Xue on receiving the title of “Outstanding Young Lawyer of Dalian.”
On September 19, 2024, the Shenyang Municipal Political and Legal System “Revitalization Guardian” Cup Post-Skill Intensive Training Event, together with the finals of the First Shenyang Lawyers’ Legal Service Skills Competition, was successfully held. The event was jointly organized by the Municipal Justice Bureau and the Municipal Lawyers Association, with strong support from the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions. Among the many entries submitted, Attorney Geng Luhong from Tongfang Law Firm stood out from 90 submissions with her carefully selected case, “Judgment in the Case of Sun Moumou Suspected of Intentional Injury,” and successfully made it into the top ten, earning the award for Outstanding Case.
On August 29, 2024, Shenyang Water Supply Group Co., Ltd. held its 2024 Legal Affairs Conference and the Awards Ceremony for Outstanding Shortlisted Law Firms and Lawyers. Lawyers Li Jing and Zhou Shuang from Liaoning Tongfang Law Firm were honored with the title of “Outstanding Service Lawyer of the Water Supply Group.”
From August 24 to 25, 2024, the Northeast Three Provinces and One Autonomous Region Lawyers Association Exchange Forum—hosted by the bar associations of the three northeastern provinces and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and organized by the Jilin Province Lawyers Association—was successfully held in Changchun, Jilin Province. The conference was themed “Contributing to the Creation of a Rule-of-Law Environment That Is Stable, Transparent, Standardized, and Predictable.”
On August 11, 2024, the grand “Breaking Through to Rebirth: A Forum on Bankruptcy Law Practice and Optimization of the Business Environment—2024” was held. At the event, Lvxin Society released its “Guide to Premium Legal Service Brands (2024): Bankruptcy Sector” (hereinafter referred to as the “Guide”), and solemnly presented the “Lvxin Society 2024 Brand Star in the Bankruptcy Sector: Outstanding Lawyers” honor award.
On July 16, 2024, Gao Di, the client in a case previously handled by our managing partner, Attorney Wang Sicong, visited our firm and presented Attorney Wang Sicong with a banner as a heartfelt expression of gratitude for his outstanding legal work.
