From August 24 to 25, 2024, the Northeast Three Provinces and Inner Mongolia Lawyers Association Exchange Forum—hosted by the lawyers associations of the three northeastern provinces and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and organized by the Jilin Province Lawyers Association—was successfully held in Changchun, Jilin Province. The conference was themed “Helping to Create a Rule-of-Law Environment That Is Stable, Transparent, Standardized, and Predictable.”
After thorough exchanges at various specialized forums and the general conference, and following rigorous evaluation by the review panel of experts, the paper “Application of Rules for the Exception System in Fair Competition Review—Also Discussing Strategies for Balancing and Coordinating Regional Local Policy Objectives with Competition Policy,” authored by lawyers Ma Yunhe and Sui Yang from our firm, has been awarded the “First Prize for Outstanding Paper.”
The paper “The Responsibility and Mission of Lawyers in Building a Rule-of-Law Business Environment,” authored by Attorney Liu Kai, has won the Second Prize for Outstanding Paper.
This award recognizes Tongfang Law Firm’s longstanding commitment to fostering lawyers’ theoretical competence, as well as its consistent dedication to honing professional skills and delving into theoretical and academic research through initiatives such as the Tongfang Academy.
