On July 16, 2024, Gao Di, the client in a case previously handled by our managing partner, Attorney Wang Sichong, visited our firm and presented Attorney Wang Sichong with a banner as a heartfelt expression of gratitude for his outstanding legal services.

The client in this case, Gao Di, is a barber who, having placed undue trust in others, had his identity card stolen and used by someone else to register him as a shareholder in a company. In 2021, the People’s Court of Enshi City, Hubei Province, ruled—in the course of enforcement proceedings—to add Gao Di as an additional party liable for the company’s debts, holding him jointly and severally responsible within the limit of 10 million yuan. This news came as a bolt from the blue for Gao Di, suddenly placing him at risk of losing everything and leaving him utterly overwhelmed. Gao Di approached Attorney Wang Sicong of our firm and entrusted him with filing an objection lawsuit against the court’s decision to add him as an additional party liable. Despite the risks posed by the pandemic, Attorney Wang Sicong traveled repeatedly to Enshi, Hubei Province, and ultimately secured a favorable judgment for Gao Di in the objection lawsuit. As a result, Gao Di was found not liable and no longer faces being added as an additional party liable.
Thereafter, lawyer Wang Sicong again represented his client, Gao Di, and filed a civil lawsuit against the infringer—who had fraudulently used Gao Di’s identity to register a company—in the People’s Court of the Shenyang Economic and Technological Development Zone. The lawsuit sought compensation from the infringer for all actual expenses—including transportation costs and attorney fees—that Gao Di had incurred when his lawyer filed an objection to enforcement proceedings in the People’s Court of Enshi City, Hubei Province. Ultimately, the People’s Court of the Economic and Technological Development Zone ruled that the infringer must compensate Gao Di for all the aforementioned actual expenses, totaling over 80,000 yuan.
In representing his client, Gao Di, in the aforementioned case, Attorney Wang Sicong demonstrated diligence and dedication. Relying on his exceptional professional expertise, he not only helped his client avoid the risk of assuming massive debts but also ensured that the infringer bore the legal responsibilities it rightfully owed, enabling his client to genuinely experience fairness and justice in the judicial proceedings.
