On the afternoon of March 20, 2024, Tongfang Law Firm held the first meeting of the 2024 Tongfang Young Lawyers Development Committee (hereinafter referred to as the “Young Lawyers Development Committee”). Attending the meeting and offering guidance were Yang Xingquan, Partner Chairman and Director of Tongfang Law Firm and advisor to the Young Lawyers Development Committee; Han Ying, Director of Tongfang Free Trade Zone Branch and advisor to the Young Lawyers Development Committee; and Zhao Jing, Senior Partner at Tongfang Free Trade Zone Branch. Also in attendance were Zhao Zhihao, Counselor of Tongfang Law Firm and Chairman of the Young Lawyers Development Committee; Yu Liyuan, Vice Chairman of the Young Lawyers Development Committee; Wu Xing, Secretary-General of the Young Lawyers Development Committee; Liu Jianfeng, Xue Suyang, and Yu Nan, members of the Young Lawyers Development Committee; and Song Chunyu (Junior), Deputy Secretary-General of the Young Lawyers Development Committee. The meeting was chaired by Zhao Zhihao, Chairman of the Tongfang Young Lawyers Development Committee.

The members of the Tongfang Qingfa Committee conducted brief self-introductions and focused on this year’s work outlook, putting forward their own ideas and suggestions.

Director Yang Xingquan placed great hopes on the new Youth Development Committee team. He pointed out three key priorities: First, we must build consensus and comprehensively promote the development of Tongfang’s young lawyers, enhancing their competitiveness and influence; second, we should diversify our activities and establish a “Young Lawyers’ Academy,” launching the first Tongfang Lawyers “Youth Training Camp”; third, we need to establish sound mechanisms, clearly define responsibilities and division of labor, and work together in unity, pooling our collective wisdom and efforts.

Attorney Han Ying stated that Tongfang places great importance on the development of young lawyers and will provide strong support for the work of the Youth Development Committee. She expressed hope that in its future endeavors, the Tongfang Youth Development Committee will continue to be innovative and proactive, actively organizing more meaningful activities to offer practical assistance to Tongfang’s young lawyers.

Attorney Zhao Jing stated that the Tongfang Youth Lawyers Committee should dare to innovate while staying true to its original aspirations, showcasing the vitality of young lawyers. It should also clearly define roles and responsibilities, pool the strengths of all young lawyers in the firm, and highlight the distinctive qualities of young lawyers.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Attorney Zhao Zhihao, Director of the Tongfang Youth Lawyers Committee, stated that under the leadership of the Tongfang Management Committee, the Youth Lawyers Committee will spare no effort in carrying out its work, constantly innovating and staying ahead of the curve, placing great emphasis on implementation, and striving to enhance the competitiveness of Tongfang’s young lawyers while showcasing their distinctive style and demeanor.

Introduction to the Youth Development Committee

The full name of the Tongfang Youth Lawyers Development Committee is Tongfang Law Firm Youth Lawyers Development Committee. The committee’s advisors include Attorney Yang Xingquan (Partner Chairman and Director of Tongfang Law Firm) and Attorney Han Ying (Director of Tongfang Free Trade Zone Branch). The Committee’s Director is Attorney Zhao Zhihao; its Deputy Directors are Attorneys Bai Siqi, Han Xiaoguang, Liu Chang, Jin Lu, Jia Jiayu, and Yu Liyuan. The Committee’s Secretaries-General are Attorneys Wu Xing, Liu Jianfeng, Xue Suyang, Shi Mo, and Yu Nan; and its Deputy Secretaries-General are Attorneys Song Chunyu (Junior), Zhang Chu, Sun Ningwei, and Zhang Jing.
