On April 25, 2024, Wenhu Road Primary School hosted an open event on interdisciplinary thematic teaching centered around the “Five-Element Integration” approach. Given the recent surge in campus bullying incidents—including the “Handan Middle School Student Murder Case” and the incident in Xinxiang, Henan, where a 9-year-old boy was beaten by a classmate’s parent near the school gate—lawyer Wang Zhanping, senior partner at Tongfang Law Firm, was specially invited to attend the event as a guest speaker and lead a class meeting themed “Resisting Campus Violence,” aimed at primary and secondary school students in 2024. The purpose of this event is to create a safe, harmonious, and caring learning environment for students. During the session, lawyer Wang Zhanping provided a detailed explanation of the concept, characteristics, and types of campus bullying, as well as practical strategies for preventing it.

Through video presentations, Attorney Wang helped the children gain a deep understanding of the harmful effects of school bullying, the age-based criteria for criminal offenses as outlined in the Criminal Law of the People’s Republic of China, and the relevant provisions of the Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency. This enabled the children to learn more about the connections between school bullying and the law.
