Learn from Comrade Lei Feng.
To deepen our study of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thoughts on youth work, gain a profound understanding of the contemporary significance of Lei Feng’s spirit, continuously expand and strengthen the volunteer service team dedicated to carrying forward Lei Feng’s legacy, and foster a widespread culture of learning from Lei Feng among the general public—especially among young people—and integrate Lei Feng-themed activities into daily life as a regular practice, the Municipal Youth League Committee organized a special “Learn from Lei Feng” volunteer service campaign on March 3 in the Yangguang 100 Community, located in Chengdonghu Subdistrict, Yuhong District. Over 100 participants attended the event, including leaders from the Municipal Youth League Committee and Yuhong District, representatives of young volunteers from various sectors, and community residents’ representatives.
The Public Welfare Committee of Tongfang Law Firm responded enthusiastically. Deputy Director of the Tongfang Public Welfare Committee and Senior Partner, Attorney Sun Zhiqiang, led members of the Tongfang Public Welfare Committee—Senior Partner Attorney Liu Kai, Partner Attorney Jin Lu, and Attorney Sun Ningwei—to provide free legal consultations to residents of the Yangguang 100 community in Chengdonghu Subdistrict, Yuhong District.
The spirit of Lei Feng is an accumulation of traditional Chinese virtues, a spirit that evolves with the times and keeps pace with societal progress. In this public-interest legal awareness campaign, the lawyers from the Public Welfare Committee not only carried forward the spirit of Lei Feng through their practical actions and demonstrated a spirit of service, but also further promoted the concept of the rule of law, thereby fostering a positive legal environment conducive to building a harmonious society.
The Tongfang Public Welfare Committee, officially known as the Tongfang Law Firm Public Welfare and Social Responsibility Committee, was formally established on December 29, 2021. Currently, the committee has 106 members. Zhao Jing, Director of the Tongfang Public Welfare Committee; Yang Xingquan, Attorney and Advisor to the Public Welfare Committee (Director and Chairman of Partners at Tongfang Law Firm); Han Ying, Attorney and Director of the Tongfang Free Trade Zone Branch; Li Lizhi, Sun Zhiqiang, and Wu Menglai, Deputy Directors of the Public Welfare Committee; Jia Jiayu, Wei Shiyu, and Yu Liyuan, Secretaries-General of the Public Welfare Committee; Wang Weijing, Zhang Xin, and Xu Wenzhuo, Deputy Secretaries-General of the Public Welfare Committee. The Tongfang Public Welfare Committee is dedicated to charitable causes and leverages the professional strengths of lawyers to serve society and the public.
