On the morning of August 9, the finals of the 6th Shenyang Lawyers “Golden Microphone” Competition concluded successfully. The competition was jointly organized by the Shenyang Lawyers Association and Shenyang Radio and Television Station, and was undertaken by the Publicity and Public Relations Special Committee of the Shenyang Lawyers Association and Life Radio of Shenyang Radio and Television Station. The Shenyang Lawyers’ “Golden Microphone” Competition has been held for six consecutive sessions, witnessing the cross-sector integration between the legal and media industries and facilitating a relay-style interactive collaboration between local and national-level media outlets. To date, the competition has helped build a pool of 46 Shenyang lawyers who serve as lecturers for CCTV’s “Legal Lecture” program. Nearly 300 episodes featuring works by many contestants have already been officially aired on CCTV, and several contestants have been appointed as members of media-based pro bono lawyer teams.

The final consists of two parts. The first round, the regular competition, is scored on a 100-point scale, with scores being awarded and announced live to ensure fairness and impartiality. The top four contestants advance to the ultimate challenge. In this stage, contestants are paired off in groups of two; after watching a live staged drama, they will answer questions to determine the final rankings.
