Recently, the CPC Shenyang Municipal Justice Bureau’s Organizational Committee and its directly affiliated units’ Committee announced their commendation decisions. The Second Party Branch of Liaoning Tongfang Law Firm has been awarded the title of “Advanced Grassroots Party Organization by the Shenyang Municipal Justice Bureau.” ； Five lawyers—Senior Partner Yang Dawei, Senior Partner Zhang Yuefeng, Partner Wu Menglai, Partner Han Tianfu, and Liu Jingwen—have been awarded the title of “Outstanding Communist Party Member of the Shenyang Municipal Justice Bureau.” The dual achievement of collective and individual honors highlights the solid results of the deep integration between Tongfang’s Party building and its business operations.

The Second Party Branch of Liaoning Tongfang Law Firm was established in June 2019 and currently has 10 members. In recent years, under the leadership of the higher-level Party committee, the branch has consistently taken Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as its fundamental guiding principle, thoroughly studied and implemented the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and resolutely carried out all decisions and deployments made by the higher-level Party organizations. The branch has fully activated the role of the Party branch as a fighting fortress and the exemplary and leading role of its members, using high-quality Party building as a driving force to propel all work to new heights and achieve remarkable results.

Since its establishment, the branch has continuously deepened red education and fulfilled its social responsibilities: It has organized Party members to visit and study at the甲午 War Museum, where they gained firsthand insights into the red spirit and carried forward the red gene. On the occasion of the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Party, the branch went to the Lushun Red Tourism Area to carry out themed activities, strengthening patriotic and national defense education. During the pandemic, many Party members voluntarily donated money and supplies and enthusiastically joined the frontline volunteer service to fight against the epidemic; several of them were awarded the title of “Anti-Epidemic Volunteer.” Every Qingming Festival, the branch has organized Party members multiple times to visit martyrs’ cemeteries for memorial ceremonies, honoring revolutionary forefathers and carrying forward their spiritual legacy. The branch has also actively engaged in co-construction and cooperation with local communities, leveraging its professional strengths to provide regular legal awareness campaigns for community residents, effectively enhancing the public’s rule-of-law consciousness. Due to its outstanding performance, the Second Party Branch was awarded the title of “Outstanding Party Branch of 2022” by Liaoning Tongfang Law Firm in 2023.
