The smoke of war has cleared, yet the revolutionary spirit endures. To commemorate the heroic martyrs of the revolution, carry forward the “red gene,” and further inspire all Party members with a sense of responsibility, mission, and solidarity, Liaoning Tongfang Law Firm organized a profound and meaningful team-building activity for its Party members on August 2nd. The event took them to Huludao Tashan Ambush Battle Memorial Hall—a patriotic education base—where they engaged in an enlightening and meaningful experience.

Tashan, located in Lianshan District, Huludao City, is the site of the famous Tashan Ambush Battle during the Liaoshen Campaign. This heroic battle, which shook mountains and rivers, laid a solid foundation for our main forces to capture Jinzhou and secure victory in the Liaoshen Campaign, thereby forging the “Tashan Spirit”—a spirit characterized by prioritizing the overall situation, strictly adhering to discipline, bravely making sacrifices, and daring to fight and win at all costs.
With profound reverence, we stepped into the Memorial Hall of the Tashan Ambush Battle. As our guide recounted the story with heartfelt emotion, it felt as if we had been transported back to those days of incessant cannon fire and thick smoke and dust. Each precious artifact, weathered by the trials of war; every poignant photograph capturing historic moments; and each vividly recreated battle scene—all silently spoke of the heroic deeds of the revolutionary martyrs who fought bravely and faced death unflinchingly for the liberation of their nation and the happiness of the people. The yellowed letters from home, the tattered military uniforms, the crude weapons displayed in the showcases—each and every item deeply shook the hearts of every visitor.

This visit was not only a look back at history, but also a spiritual cleansing and an elevation of thought. Before the solemn monument, all participants paid tribute to the revolutionary martyrs who heroically sacrificed themselves in the Battle of Tashan, expressing their deepest remembrance and highest respect.
As they stepped out of the memorial hall, everyone’s emotions remained deeply stirred for a long time. The peace and development that our martyrs won at the cost of their blood and lives are truly precious and deserve our utmost care and appreciation. Everyone expressed their determination to take this visit and learning experience as a fresh starting point.
As the smoke of battle has cleared, the spirit endures. Tashan—this heroic mountain range—witnessed a legendary defensive battle that will go down in history and has also erected an immortal monument to the human spirit. Through this profound team-building activity with a meaningful theme, all employees of Tongfang have received a vivid education in patriotism and revolutionary traditions, their spirits have been purified, their convictions have been strengthened, and the team’s cohesion and unity have been further enhanced.
