This morning, the remains of the 12th batch of Chinese People's Volunteer Army martyrs who had served in Korea were returned to their motherland. Finally, 30 brave Volunteer Army martyrs have come home. Under the unified arrangement of the Peace District Justice Bureau, Tongfang Law Firm in Liaoning organized its staff to attend this solemn ceremony and jointly witness this historic moment.

The highest honors to welcome the hero.

At Shenyang Taoxian International Airport early in the morning, the atmosphere was solemn and dignified. The Y-20 special aircraft slowly touched down, and two fire trucks simultaneously sprayed two columns of water, forming a spectacular water gate—a gesture of the highest honor in civil aviation known as "passing through the water gate"—to welcome and cleanse the heroes of their journey.

From returning home to going home, from being unknown to becoming famous.

Since 2014, China has consecutively brought back the remains of Chinese People's Volunteer Army martyrs who died in Korea for twelve years. As of now, a total of 981 martyrs have been repatriated to their homeland.

Even more touching is that not only does our motherland welcome the remains of the martyrs back home, but it also goes to great lengths to help them “return home.” All the remains of the 11 batches of martyrs who returned earlier have now had their DNA information extracted and entered into the database. In April of this year, the identities of another eight martyrs were finally confirmed, and today, the families of these martyrs have also come to the ceremony to welcome their loved ones home.

The spirit of heroes, perpetually passed down.

Shenyang, this heroic city, has been welcoming the souls of its heroes back home with the highest honors for twelve consecutive years. This unwavering commitment is not merely a ritual—it is also our shared historical memory and emotional anchor.
