Since graduating from university in 2000, Attorney Liu Qinqun has been engaged in law-related work. In 2002, she passed the country’s first-ever judicial qualification examination and subsequently resigned from her position at a state-owned enterprise to pursue a career as a lawyer. In February 2009, she passed the civil service examination and joined the People’s Court of Tiexi District, Shenyang City, where she initially served as an assistant judge and later as a judge in the Second Civil Adjudication Division. Subsequently, she was appointed as the deputy chief judge of the Fourth Civil Adjudication Division. During her tenure in the Second Civil Adjudication Division, she primarily handled cases involving construction engineering, housing sales, and leasing. In the Fourth Civil Adjudication Division, she focused on labor disputes between enterprises and employees, as well as traffic accident cases. In January 2013, she assumed the position of deputy chief judge of the Fourth Civil Adjudication Division, where she mainly presided over labor disputes and traffic accident cases. She has accumulated extensive experience in adjudicating labor dispute cases, handling over a hundred such cases annually. She has a thorough understanding of applicable laws, regulations, local rules and regulations, as well as the trial principles and philosophies of courts at both the provincial and municipal levels, enabling her to effectively resolve labor-management conflicts. At the same time, she helps reduce enterprises’ employment risks, minimizes the occurrence of labor disputes, and handles existing labor disputes in a manner that fosters a positive employment environment and system for both enterprises and their employees, thereby providing strong support for their mutual development.
After resigning in July 2015, I joined Tongfang Law Firm. Currently, I primarily focus on civil and commercial litigation as well as non-litigation legal advisory services for enterprises. I have extensive practical experience in civil and commercial matters such as construction engineering and real estate, labor law, family law, and private lending. I provide legal advisory and litigation services to numerous enterprises and institutions, including the former Liaoning Provincial Local Taxation Bureau, the Liaoning Provincial Institute of Microbiology, Shenyang University of Technology, and the Fuxin Branch of the Liaoning Tobacco Company, among others.
