Since 2002, when I began practicing law full-time, I have served as a senior partner at Liaoning Tongfang Law Firm and Director of the Specialized Committee on Insurance and Wealth Succession; Director of the Silver Economy Legal Service Center; Lecturer on Insurance Law Practice at the School of Law, Liaoning University; Expert Lawyer in the High-End Insurance Lawyers Pool for Ping An Property & Casualty Insurance in Liaoning; In-house Lawyer and External Lecturer for China Life Insurance; and Expert Lawyer in the Provincial Company’s Lawyers Pool for Major, Complex, and Difficult Cases at PICC Property & Casualty Insurance. The clients I have served include more than thirty insurance companies, such as Rongsheng Property & Casualty Insurance Co., Ltd., AIA Life Insurance Co., Ltd., China Life Insurance, Ping An Property & Casualty Insurance, and Taiping Insurance. I have provided legal services including, but not limited to, the following:
1. Represented hundreds of litigation cases involving personal insurance and property insurance disputes.
2. The agent successfully filed a claim with the insurance company on behalf of the business damaged by the fire, recovering over 40 million yuan in compensation.
3. In a case where the insured person’s claim for critical illness insurance was denied by the insurance company and the insurance contract was subsequently terminated, the agent representing the insured successfully obtained a final judgment in favor of the insured, ordering the insurance company to assume its insurance liability and continue performing the contract.
4. Provide specialized legal services to a certain property and casualty insurance headquarters regarding the management and utilization of insurance funds.
5. Provided legal services related to compliance management of corporate pension plans for a certain pension insurance company.
6. Providing specialized legal services to address the legal risks associated with insurance funds invested in real estate for a life insurance company.
7. Provided legal advice on intellectual property infringement and protection for a life insurance company.
8. Provided batch-specific legal risk opinions for litigation insurance liability coverage offered by a property and casualty insurance company.
9. Provided specialized criminal legal services for a life insurance company in connection with a case involving 50 million yuan in illegal fundraising.
10. Legal Training: Includes providing claims compliance analysis, life insurance legal seminars, wealth succession training (targeting insurance agent teams, insurance agency intermediaries, and bank wealth management departments), underwriting risk assessments for litigation liability insurance, recovery risk assessments for insurance companies, civil code seminars, anti-money laundering compliance risk seminars, and detailed explanations of the Supreme People’s Court case database, among other legal trainings, to insurance companies such as China Life, Taiping Life, Taiping Pension, Taiping Property & Casualty, Ping An Pension, Dajia Property & Casualty, Everbright Yongming Life, Xinhua Life, and Huatai Property & Casualty.
11. Legal services involving marital and inheritance matters, equity investment and financing, large-scale insurance, and other areas related to private wealth risk management for a particular client and their family.
